What is a leave management system?
Leave management, or time off management, is the process within an organization that manages employee time-off requests, that would then be approved, or denied, by their managers.
A modern leave management system should be cloud-based, user-friendly, informative and completely automated.
Whilst leave management is often referred to as a holiday tracking system (or holiday tracker), a leave management system (or leave tracking system) should also cater for other employee absence types, such as sickness or compassionate leave.

Will my invoice be calculated pro-rata if I sign up to a 'monthly' subscription in the middle of the month?
Yes, billing is completed on the first day of each month, for the previous month; any new employees added during the previous month are calculated pro-rata. For example if you registered a new employee on the 15th of a month, you would only pay from the 15th to the end of that month.

Will my invoice be calculated pro-rata if I sign up to an 'annual' subscription?
Yes and no! When you sign up to a new annual subscription you will be invoiced for the number of licenses you requested for a whole year; the date that you signed up will then become your subscription anniversary date. For example, if you took out an annual subscription on the 22nd November 2020, you would then be invoiced again on the 22nd November 2021.
However, if you were to request additional licenses during the year, these will be calculated pro-rata, and invoiced accordingly, to take you up to your anniversary date.
